Dominica: Isaiah Thomas Secondary School to take on North East Comprehensive School in playoffs

Dominica: The top school and qualifiers for the playoff match in the U17 Division and the Semi finalists in the 13 and Under Division will be decided on Monday, 23rd January 2023, in the Sports Division Secondary Schools Football Competition.

There will be a doubleheader at Benjamin Park. The Isaiah Thomas Secondary School will challenge the North East Comprehensive School in the 13 and Under and the Under 17 Division at 2 pm and 3:30 pm, respectively.

School football returns to Lindo Park. In the 13 and Under competition, the Saint Mary’s Academy will face the Pierre Charles Secondary School at 2:30 pm.

In another double header at Newtown, the Dominica Grammar School will battle the Castle Bruce Secondary School in both the 13 and Under and U17 Divisions at 2:00 pm and 3:30 pm, respectively.

Dominica Grammar School maintained their unbeaten run in the U17 Division on Friday, 20th January 2023, with four goals to Zero victories over the Portsmouth Secondary School at Benjamin Park.

Malachi Bonney got a brace (2 goals), with Avery Jno Baptiste and Malachi Labad scoring one goal each for the Dominica Grammar School.

The Sports Division of Dominica also shared information about School Girls Netball which is going to be held today, the 23rd, Monday at Castle Bruce.

The tournament is going to start in the afternoon at 2:30 pm, and this match is going to be held between St. Johns Academy Vs Castle Bruce Secondary School (CBSS).

And the second match will start after one hour after the first match, at 3:30 pm, and it will be between Castle Bruce Secondary School (CBSS) Vs ACADEMIX (U20).

The third match will be at ITSS Grounds at 3 pm between CHS (B) Vs ITSS, and it’s a U16 match. In the same place, there is one match which is scheduled at 3:30 pm, and it will be between DGS Vs GSS, and it’s also U 16 match.
