Uganda: Minister of the Council, News; Cabinet; Guests, and the Spokesperson of the Kingdom, Noah Kiyimba, urged students at various levels to pay more attention to developing the talent of public speaking, as it is very crucial in their future development.
The Minister was speaking at MUMSA High School, Mityana, over the weekend, where he was the chief guest, at a ceremony organized by the school for a public speaking competition between students’ dormitories and outside wisdom. Class, at that school, for this year.
The Minister said that the talent of public speaking helps to open up various opportunities for a person, as well as helping him to develop himself in the field of work.
He added that public speaking helps a person to gain self-confidence and expand their strengths on various issues.
He urged the students not to be afraid to try to speak in public. Although sometimes the first time may be difficult, but the experience increases every time you get the opportunity to speak in public.
He said people often think that talent is in sports and singing and forget the talent of public speaking when it is very important in one’s life, and he thanked MUMSA High School for coming out on this talent in way of a different kind.
He thanked the school management and students for supporting the Kingdom’s activities, especially the regular purchase of certificates.
Similarly, the Kiyimba urged the students to prevent AIDS and avoid any programme that brings them to the topic of study.
Joseph Kawuki, one of the assumed managers, urged the students to take advantage of every opportunity they get to help them achieve their goals.
He warned them against copying habits that do not build their lives, but they excused themselves that Uganda is like that.
Ennyumba Bbemba won the public speaking competition, and the chief guest presented them with a goat.
House Jjunju won the top prize in the various competitions and was awarded a cow, while they were also awarded a shield for the best of all the hostels in purchasing Certificates.
