Wesgro in association with Cape Town Air Access supported the decision of KLM to increase their capacity to Cape Town with two additional flights per week. The selected days are Tuesday and Sunday.
Reportedly, the services will begin from December 17, 2024. The development in flight services is a significant milestone. KLM has selected Netherlands that features one of the top-10 destinations for two-way passengers into Cape Town International Airport.
However, the enhancement in the air connectivity is a testament to the growing importance of Cape Town as a key destination in Africa. It ensures that the region remains a preferred destination, especially for Dutch travellers who are seeking both leisure along with the business opportunities.
KLM Royal Dutch Airlines has enhanced their schedule and are catering to both business and leisure travelers. The flights will run from Sunday, October 27, 2024 to Sunday, March 30, 2025. The seasonal service will offer the customers opportunity to explore 220 destinations worldwide.
The Airlines will continue with its daily services to Johannesburg and Cape Town, heading towards two key South African destinations. KLM is spanning its network globally to 155 destinations, which also includes 89 within the Europe and 66 intercontinental routes.
KLM has also added Portland as a new American destination. The airline with new A321neo aircraft is operational on selected European Routes, considering Copenhagen, Berlin and Stockholm. It is a Premium Comfort class which is also available on all Boeing 787 and 777 aircraft.
As per the sources, the KLM and Air France has expanded their networks to additional new six destinations which includes Manila.
Considering the more direct flight options from Paris and Amsterdam, travel has never been more convenient. The complementary airline schedule with transatlantic partners such as Delta Air Lines and Virgin Atlantic provided travellers with even more seamless options across the Atlantic.
