South Africa Men’s Cricket’s team won the 2026 Namibia T30I Tri-Series Final against the Zimbabwe Men’s Cricket Team on September 6, 2026. The team won the match by 48 runs after scoring 205 runs in 20 overs for a loss of 5 wickets.
The toss was won by the South Africa team and they chose to bat first. Conor Esterhuizen and Jordan Hermann opened the innings for the team. Esterhuizen scored 32 runs in 23 balls and Hermann scored the highest runs for the team 53 runs in 29 balls in which he hit 8 fours and 1 six in the match.
The three players who contributed to the final score of the team were: Dewald Brevis 32 in 23 balls, Tony De Zorzi 17 runs in 11 balls, Rubin Hermann 27 runs in 16 balls, Eathan Bosch 7 runs in 4 balls and Duan Jansen 23 runs in 14 balls. The wickets of the South Africa Team were dismissed by the three Zimbabwe players Newman Nyamhuri 2, Brad Evans 2 and Sikandar Raza 1.
Moreover, South Africa’s bowlers bowled out Zimbabwe for 157 runs in 17.5 overs. The highest runs scored by the Zimbabwe team came from the player Brad Evans who hit 56 runs in 31 balls in which he hit 4 fours and sixes. Duan Jansen and Bjorn Fortuin were the highest wicket takers for the South Africa team. Both the players dismissed three wickets.
Eathan Bosch also took two wickets while Kwena Maphaka and Prenelan Subrayen each took one wicket against Zimbabwe players. Moreover, the title of player of match and player of the series were secured by the South Africa players.
Jordan Hermann was the player of the match and the player of the series title was secured by Dewald Brevis. The final match was held at the Namibia Cricket Ground, Windhoek.
Notably, the Namibia T30I Tri-Series officially began on August 28, 2026 and the series features Namibia, South Africa and Zimbabwe.
