As the nation reflects on this Diabetes Week and the impact it has on the lives of men. It is deemed fit to sit down as men, reflect on ourselves, and have a conversation on our health matters. And that is why it is a saying that “A healthy body, a healthy mind, a productive employee, and a good member of the community, a hand of God.”

“We are strong, and we’re going to depart stronger than our current strength because of today’s engagement,” highlighted Chief Director of Corporate Services, Dr Ntlhopeng Dikobe.

Under the specious theme of ‘quitting is not an option’, Chief Director Peter Moholo from the Office of the Premier uttered words of encouragement, advising that no matter the difficulties of life, always have hope.

The stakeholders supporting this specious gathering are Men’s Clinic International, Motsamai Development Enterprise, Sanlam, Brothers for Life, and Men for Real.

He also wrote his opinion piece on The People’s Epidemiologist page as usual, and we can have our live video as usual around 6-7 on the same day. According to Ngoma, diabetes and hypertension are two significant risk factors for heart disease and are also categorized as NCDs.

Further, he asserted, “In these busy, challenging times, we don’t stop to think about how 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐝𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐩𝐡𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐥-𝐛𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠.”
