West Africa, Nigeria: People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Gubernatorial Campaign Council has rescheduled time table for the Gubernatorial Campaign activities recommencing on Monday, January 2nd, 2023, from Koko Besse Local Government Area of the State.
A release from the Director General Alh Abubakar Shehu GEDA indicates that on Thursday, General Aminu Bande will take his campaign programme to Maiyama, while Wednesday and Thursday are dedicated to Bagudo Local Government Area and Friday in Suru Local Government Area, respectively.
Alh Abubakar Shehu GEDA urged party members and teeming supporters of PDP to be orderly and peaceful throughout the campaign activities.
Meanwhile, the State PDP Chairman Alh Usman Bello Suru and the DG Gubernatorial Campaign Council are expressing profound appreciation to members of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and the people of Kebbi South senatorial zone for the warm reception, solidarity and goodwill extended to the campaign team while there noting that despite the dilapidated state of roads in the seven local Government Areas and security apprehension: they trooped out in large numbers to receive the Gubernatorial Candidate Major Gen Aminu Bande and leaders of People’s Democratic Campaign (PDP) on the campaign tour.
To this end, Alh Abubakar Shehu GEDA specifically commended former Deputy Governor Alh Ibrahim K Aliyu Matawallen Yauri, former SSG Alh Abubakar Umar Warra Bunun Yauri, Dr Benjamin Ezra Dikki, Sarkin Yakin Zuru, Alh Zailani Muhammad Wazirin Yauri and Alh Abdullahi Lamba Dan Masanin Yauri for their personal presence and elderly guidance to the campaign team.
The campaign tour of Kebbi South winded up in Shanga Local Government Area with unprecedented crowds of cheering supporters and singers from the area.
