Zimbabwe: PAN African Magazine – Fortune Africa has recently named religious leader and businessman Prophet Edd Branson as the second most influential African in the list of the top 50 most influential Africans 2023-24.

Edd Branson was honoured for his efforts in deepening ties between the continent and the United States of America.

The magazine is designated as one of Africa’s leading media consultancy firms and provides deep reports regarding business and analysis across 53 African countries.

Recently, it has also recognised the Chairperson of Mumba Money Africa – Neville Mutsvanwa and included him in the list of the top 50 most influential Africans of 2023-24.

According to the sources, the magazine ranks the top 50 based on the impact, influence, and achievements of individuals in their respective fields and domains. Hence, they recognised Prophet Branson as the most influential person in Africa and the USA.

Fortune Africa Magazine revealed that Ambassador Dr Edd Branson is the Chairman of the AfriUSA Business Initiative.

The magazine revealed, “He is an investor and citizen diplomat, working towards fostering economic development and diplomatic relations between Africa and the United States. ”

Considering his achievement, Prophet Branson who is also the leader of Jesus Generation International Ministries (JGIM) commented that he remains keen to explore opportunities that put Zimbabwe on the global map in both trade and philanthropic work.

Branson added, “Our efforts remain to foster the growth of trade and economic development for our country, Zimbabwe and mother Africa, wielding strong ties with other continents that are beneficial on the global market, at the same time uplifting the lives of other African people.”

Edd Branson’s philanthropic works have earned him several accolades, including being appointed Ambassador to the United Nations by the World Habitat Ambassadors Foundation.

Reportedly, the president of Tanzania – Samia Suluhu, topped the list and made history by becoming the first female president of the country in 2021 and recognised Mutsvangwa as one of Zimbabwe’s thought leaders in the global financial arena.

Upon the achievement of the Chairman of Mumba Money International – Neville Mutsvangwa, the Fortune Africa Magazine commented, “The Chairman of MMI, the financial institution operating in 10 countries, has played a vital role in the growth and development of the money transfer sector.”

Moreover, Mutsvangwa champions the strengthening and expansion of African trade through economic and financial independence.
