During the meeting, Hilaire interacted with the citizens and residents of the Tunnel Road constituency.

Castries, Saint Lucia: Deputy Prime Minister of Saint Lucia and Parliamentary Representative of Castries South, Ernest Hilaire, has recently shared a glimpse from the recent community meeting held on February 1, 2023. During the meeting, Hilaire interacted with the citizens and residents of the Tunnel Road constituency.

While expressing his gratitude, the Deputy PM, who also serves as the Minister of Tourism, Investment, Creative Industries, Culture and Information, stated that he was glad to interact with constituency members and assured that he would be working in favour of their interests.

Minister took social media and stated, “Happening now community meeting with the residents of Tunnel Road. These meetings are an opportunity for me to listen to my constituents’ concerns and find ways to address them. They motivate me to work in their best interests throughout, and I promise to continue working on their behalf.”

Previous week also, Deputy Prime Minister Hilaire shared a glimpse of the community meeting with the residents of Faux a Chaux. During the meeting, the minister interacts with the residents of the constituency. “Community meeting with the residents of Faux a Chaux. These meetings are an avenue for me to meet with my constituents and hear some of the issues they are facing and find ways to address them,” Hilaire stated on social media.

Ernest Hilaire has been working days and nights to uplift and grow the respective constituency. Along with this, being the minister of tourism, he has always remained focused and concerned about travel-centric activities in the nation. During the cruise season, Hilare was updating the general public.

Last week, the minister stated that the cruise visitors were welcomed at Port Castries with the sweet sound from the Leon Hess Comprehensive School Pan Side. It is encouraging to see the young creative of Saint Lucia getting involved in Creative Industries of Saint Lucia and tying it into the tourism sector.

“They were also greeted with local drums and solo groups on the Castries Market steps. They also enjoyed the real Saint Lucian experiences throughout the city centre and other communities across the island,” he concluded.
