Botswana: Sustainabiz Consulting has hosted a graduation ceremony for the first cohort of the ESG Strategy Boot Camp Africa. The graduation ceremony was hosted on November 15 at the venue in Gaborone.

Mosate shared the rationale behind, approaches and milestone of Debswana ESG journey with the graduates. She encouraged the first cohort of the students who have graduated from the bootcamp to implement their learning in their careers.
The students are looking into ways to make impact in their respective business or areas of operation. She underscored the importance of integration to ensure that ESG can be interwoven through all components of the business. She shared on the importance determining the core issues to ensure that ESG interventions are successful.
Mosate encouraged the graduates to ensure that when they develop and implement ESG Strategies, they make sure to retain accountability and oversight to the highest level.
The programme seeks to make sure that can work towards the elimination of fatalities in all its operations. The Debswana diamond Company aims to become a trusted corporate leader for the people of Botswana.
