Savanne Lions Club donates a fully-automated immuno-analyser to Victoria hospital
Mauritius: A fully-automated immuno-analyser, donated by the Lions Club of Savanne to the Ministry of Health and Wellness, will be put into use at the Victoria Hospital. The donation ceremony was held this morning, in the presence of the Minister of Health and Wellness, Dr Kailesh Kumar Singh Jagutpal, at the Victoria Hospital in Candos.
Mauritius certifies Dialysis Nurses and blood bank assistants in Nephrology
Mauritius: Dialysis Nurses and Blood Bank Assistants received certificates yesterday at the School of Nursing in Pamplemousses after having completed courses spanning over six months in Nephrology and in Phlebotomy, respectively. The Minister of Health and Wellness, Dr Kailesh Kumar Singh Jagutpal, was present.
Health Minister launches Digital National Renal Registry on World Kidney Day 2023
Mauritius: A Digital National Renal Registry aiming to improve data collection of patients on Haemodialysis in the country was launched today, by the Minister of Health and Wellness, Dr Kailesh Kumar Singh Jagutpal, at the Victoria Hospital in Candos. The launching of the Registry is in line with activities to mark World Kidney Day 2023, observed on 09 March. A workshop is also being organised to elaborate on organ transplants.
