Mauritius: The bravery, commitment, dedication and sacrifices of firefighters in ensuring the safety of communities and the environment were highlighted today, by the Vice-Prime Minister (VPM), Minister of Local Government and Disaster Risk Management, Dr Mohammad Anwar Husnoo, at the Coromandel Fire Station. He was speaking at an event held to mark International Firefighters’ Day, observed annually on 04 May.
