Limpopo Health MEC Dr Phophi Ramathuba, accompanied by the world renowned women in the health sector, Professor Salome Maswime, Head of Global Surgery from the University of Cape Town, Professor Lineo Matsela, Obstetrician & Gynaecologist specialist from Sefako Makgatho University and Professor Sue Fawcus, Senior Scholar and Professor Emeritus in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, University of Cape Town, will lead a team of Obstetrics Response Team as they will be conducting an obstetrics surgical workshop on the transfer of skills to the local Obstetrics champions in the province and screening patients on non communicable diseases as part of celebrating women's month at Thabazimbi Hospital in the Waterberg District from the 14th to 18th August 2023.

Mauritius: A one-day Health Promotion Campaign, offering free non-communicable diseases (NCDs) screening tests and raising awareness on preventive measures and related medical treatments, was launched this morning, by the Minister of Health and Wellness, Dr Kailesh Kumar Singh Jagutpal, at the BM-MCCI Building in Ebène.
