The Zambia Air Force (ZAF) Commander, Lt Gen Oscar Msitu Nyoni has expressed gratitude to the President of the Republic of Zambia and Commander-in-Chief of the Defence Force, Hakainde Hichilema for taking a lead and responding in a true pan African way by dedicating resources to the SADC Mission in Mozambique (SAMIM).
Zambia: The Zambia Air Force (ZAF) Ball held on Friday, 22 December 2023, at the Chamba Valley Officers Mess proved to be a grand affair marked by elegance, solidarity and notable speeches.
Mozambique: The Director of Organ on Politics, Defence and Security Affairs, Professor Kula Ishmael Theletsane, accompanied by Chief of Staff of the Organ and acting head of SADC Planning Element Brigadier General Raymond Ndwandwe and SADC Senior Officer Public Security Kealeboga Moruti paid a courtesy call to SAMIM Acting Force Commander Brigadier General Gaboratanelwe L. Tshweneetsile on 30 October 2023.
Zambia: The Zambia Air Force Personnel deployed in the Southern Africa Development Community- Mission in Mozambique(SAMIM) received their promotions whilst in the mission area on 04 November 2023, and the affected personnel were Five (05) Senior Officers and Seven (07) Non-Commissioned Officers.
Zambia: The SADC Mission in Mozambique (SAMIM) Acting Head of Mission, Shikongo Sikongo, paid tribute to Zambia for the critical role it played in the political liberation of Southern Africa.
