Botswana: There is a need for society to change its views on women's leadership. This was said by the Assistant Minister of Trade and Industry, Beauty Manake, during a panel discussion on the legal and policy reforms for women's economic empowerment yesterday.
Botswana: Today, women across the globe compete at great lengths, and many of them have become elite sportswomen. Speaking during the first-ever Inaugural Botswana Women Sports Awards yesterday at Lekidi Football Centre, Ms Lobito Ncube, commended women for their achievements in sports.
Botswana: Minister Rakgare hosted a delegation from Youth Connekt Hub. The platform was launched in Rwanda in 2012, and it has now become a Pan-African platform, operational in 30 African countries. It is coordinated by the Youth Connekt Africa Hub based in Kigali, Rwanda, and reported by the Ministry of Youth, Gender, Sports and Culture Botswana.
