Port of Mombasa is one of Africa’s oldest surviving harbours that can be traced back long before the arrival of the Portuguese explorers to a time when Arabian dhows called at the Old Port on the north side of Mombasa Island.
Out of 45 cruise vessels that will be received at Port of Mombasa, 26 vessels are containers, 5 are General Cargo, 3 are for cars, 2 for Bulk Wheat, 2 for Bulk Fertilizer, 1 for Butane, 1 for Gas Oil, 1 for Bulk Coal, 1 for Bitumen and 1 for Bulk Iron Ore Fine.
