Botswana: Dr Mokgweetsi E.K Masisi has been appointed as the United Nations Chair for the Changemakers Award Programme. The Programme is an initiative that seeks to highlight experiences in the way water decisions have built climate resilience, and awards go to those who use innovation and technology to meet Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 6 targets.
Botswana: President Masisi is scheduled to attend the UN 2023 Water Conference, formally known as the Midterm Comprehensive Review of the Implementation of the UN Decade for Action on Water and Sanitation (2018-2028).
