South Africa: Unknown suspects have killed two men aged 24 and 34 by shooting them on Thursday while they were consuming drugs in Osindisweni – KZN. At the time of the incident, the victims were allegedly consuming drugs. The officials noted that the suspects may have been accomplices of the victims or have known them previously.
However, the relationship between the suspects and the two victims remains unclear. The neighbours of the victims alerted the reaction officers after they discovered the bodies of the victims in the room.
The Reaction Unit South Africa shared that they received the call of assistance from the neighbours at approximately 19:57. The officers were dispatched to the scene of the crime where the officials found the bodies of the victims.
Further, the reaction officers also found six (6) spent 9 mm cartridges from the room where the bodies were found. The reaction officers later interviewed the neighbours to establish the circumstances leading up to the murder.
According to the neighbours six people were consuming drugs in the room where the bodies were found. After some time three more male individuals entered the room. One of the new individuals produced a firearm and instructed four (4) of the original inhabitants of the room to leave.
The suspects then opened fire on the two remaining men. The reaction unit maintains that they have not established the motive for the murder and continue to investigate the matter. The people of the country continue to send their condolences on the death of the victims.
The people also alleged that when there are drugs involved in something, this is usually how it ends. Meanwhile, other social media users who came out to comment on the situation called the four other individuals lucky.
The people of the country seem unbothered by the incident as some locals believe that the victims may have done something to the suspects to warrant the actions.
