Zambia Women National team reveals squad for Paris Olympics 

Zambia's Women's National Team coach, Bruce Mwape, has announced his provisional squad ahead of the upcoming 2024 Paris Olympics Women's Football Tournament qualifier against Ghana. The announcement was made by the team coach, Bruce Mwape, on Wednesday.

Zambia: Zambia’s Women’s National Team coach, Bruce Mwape, has announced his provisional squad ahead of the upcoming 2024 Paris Olympics Women’s Football Tournament qualifier against Ghana. The announcement was made by the team coach, Bruce Mwape, on Wednesday.

Mwape has retained most of the players who completed the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) qualification task against Angola and added the FAZ Women’s Super League duo of defender Tabo Miselo and striker Florence Banda, who have stood out for the parliamentarians.

Green Buffaloes striker Kabange Mupopo also returns to the Copper Queens squad for the first time in eight years, as does Elite Ladies midfielder Comfort Selemani, who missed the WAFCON qualifier matches against Angola in December.

Red Arrows captain Susan Banda will miss the Ghana matches due to an injury sustained in the FAZ Women’s Super League match against Police Dove Queens FC on 27 January 2024.

The first leg match against the Black Queens of Ghana will be played at the Baba Yara Sports stadium in Kumasi on Friday 23 February and will be followed by the reverse fixture five days later.
