Botswana: The Mayor Austin Abraham, welcomed the Management of Miss Epic Botswana for a courtesy call on Friday.
Pageant Coordinator Raditladi and the top three pageanters were present at the meeting. The most significant guest was the 2023-24 Queen Onneile Shantel Chibuda.
The Pageant Coordinator claimed that they found it fit to visit the City Mayor. They were thankful for the support that the Mayor provides Miss Epic Botswana.
The Gaborone City Council has been an strong supporter of the Miss Epic Botswana Pageant. The team of GCC know that the organization plays an important role in promoting culture.
On Thursday, December 21, the Top 3 winners of Miss Epic Botswana went to the Maun Lodge. The visit was made possible because of some sponsors, including the Gaborone City Mayor Austin Abraham and Maun Lodge General Manager.
According to the organization, the top 3 were driven in splendid buses by Tee Pee Transport. The authorities expressed their gratitude to the sponsors, Tee Pee Transport and Mayor Abraham, for the experience.
The organization acknowledged that the expedition to Maun would have been impossible without the contribution of Mayor Abraham.
In line with this, the Pageant Coordinator, Raditladi, noted that they are looking forward to further collaborations between the City Council and Miss Epic Botswana. The aim is to engage Mayor Abraham as the City leadership to make a difference in the community.
He said the pageantry intends to showcase cultural heritage through projects that will be done by the Queen as well as the Princesses.
The City Mayor encouraged the Management and winners to continue making an impact, especially through cultural diversity, and said he would continue supporting them.
