Botswana: The Botswana Football Association organized a meet and greet for the stakeholders of the BFA. The meet and greet was hosted in honour of President Tariq Babitseng. He has assumed the position at the Botswana Football Association only recently.
He presided over the event which welcomed all the members of the association to meet with their new leader. They had the opportunity to share their views and suggestions for the success of the association’s goals.
The meet and greet served as a stage for the discussion of an epic transformation that the new president seeks to bring to the association. He promised that he will work hard to develop football during his tenure as the president of BFA.
He has also promised that he and his team will approach all football matters with clear and focused judgment. The President has claimed that “Exciting times are ahead for women’s football.” President Babitseng expressing deep gratitude to MYSC for their commitment to sponsoring a sector that has long struggled to find support.
The Ministry of Youth Sports and Culture has shared several images from the meet and greet on their social media. The members of the Ministry have extended a warm welcome to the members of the association and the newly appointed President
The officials have shared that the meeting was most fruitful for the members of the Botswana Football Association. The President made several new announcements during the meet and greet.
He also promised to give the Premier League the autonomy it deserves. He also promised to announce the league’s start soon, giving fans something to eagerly anticipate.
The president said that he is determined to make a lasting impact during his tenure in this position. Babitseng is working hard to build a legacy for the sports lovers of Botswana. He plans to unite the football community, prioritize grassroots development, and raise Botswana’s FIFA rankings on the global stage.
Minister Tumiso Rakgare extended a warm welcome to Babitseng for his new role. He urged the new president of BFA to make sure that the association and Botswana government can continue to work together seamlessly. He reminded Babitseng that he is responsible to uphold the BFA constitution and make sure that everything is in order.
