Botswana: The Botswana Tennis Association is gearing up to host the 2024 Davis Cup Africa Group V event. The International Tennis Federation has chosen Botswana as the hosts for the 2024 edition of the event. The organizers are extremely excited to be a part of the continent-wide initiative.
The Davis Cup Group V event will serve as a platform for sportspeople to showcase their talent in tennis. The Davis Cup is a significant event in the world of sports and is often referred to as the “World Cup of Tennis”
It is an elite event of Men’s Tennis and brings together Tennis Legends from across the world. The Africa Group V event will be hosted in Gaborone, Botswana, from July 15 to July 20, 2024. Group five consists of the following fifteen nations.

- Madagascar
- Mauritius
- Mozambique
- Congo
- Gabon
- Seychelles
- Mauritania
- Lesotho
- Djibouti
- Uganda
- Tanzania
- Sudan
- Libya
The teams will compete for two spots, which will promote them to the next round, Africa Group IV. The teams will move on to the next level in the Davis Cup and have the opportunity to face other teams from the continent.
