Johannesburg, Rustenberg: Lanchester L Roberts, CEO and Founder of Robert Creations, recently shared one of his experiences in which two police officers rescued him.
He shared the story with the media, in which he said he was on a trip from Sun City Rustenberg to Johannesburg, and it was a 3-hour drive, but it took 11 hours for him to reach there.
And the reason is that his car got overheated in the middle of nowhere, and that was the most dangerous village in Rustenburg. Then, one of the VW Polo drivers stopped and helped him, and they were police officers.
Furthermore, he said, “I told the officers that my car was overheating and I needed water. They took the empty bottles and drove to fetch water for the car, and that’s when another police officer from the northwest province stopped (His name is Officer Molefe). He stayed with us to ensure that we were safe from criminals while the other two officers went to get the water.”
“After hours of trying to get it fixed, we drove, and our car overheated again,” he added.
He again took help from the officers, and officers led them to the Pastor’s house, and Pastor called the mechanic in order to fix that car.
After the car was done, North West Police officers helped them to reach the Rustenburg and personally made sure that they would be out of the dangerous location.
“He said his motive for sharing this post is that Police are genuinely trying their best to stop crime in the country, and in our lives, they play the role of god. Today, we are safe because of them, and we will be thankful for them for our entire life.”
After sharing his experience, the response of the public is unimaginable. They were giving blessings to the police officers and the family. As per one of the locals, the public is happy because this small effort saved one crime in the country.
