South Africa: Chipata City Council has expressed gratitude for the positive results coming from the Luangeni Constituency in line with the implementation of CDF projects.

Meanwhile, Khova Ward Development Committee Chairperson Mabvuto Maimisa appealed to the residents of Khova ward and Luangeni at large to work hand in hand with the Ward Development Committees in all the wards.
He said the WDC is a link between the Council and the Community and that Members should at all costs engage the WDCs as they are the ones who are on the ground to help the Council.
Maimisa has since confirmed that the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) has reduced poverty in households and the constituency, which he said is the Government’s objective.
Moreover, Luangeni Member of Parliament Moses Moyo distributes 3000x 50kg bags of FRA white maize to 6000 households across 6 wards of the Luangeni constituency through the office of Disaster Management and Mitigation Unit.
