Africa: After winning an award at the Thobisile Fashion Show organized by Dr Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma Municipality earlier this year, Uthabisile Mangcobo Mdladla was inspired to do more and grow in fashion.
He led a campaign to solicit votes after he was nominated for the Kwa Zulu Natal NAMUHLA awards. Members of the public supported him by voting in large numbers.
Uthabisile wishes to take this opportunity to express his gratitude to all those who participated in his success, especially the Dr Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma Municipality council, for supporting him so much.
Ward councillor Thandazani Mdladla took up the issue and sponsored transportation so that people supporting Thabisile could reach Durban, where the awards were held.
It will be remembered that on the 6th of NHLABA 2022, Dr Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma Municipality sponsored a sewing machine for Thabisile, and this made her work easier.
‘On behalf of all the fashion designers under our municipality, we would like to express our gratitude and request that you do not stop giving us funding and support in our efforts, we really thank you, and we will do our best to raise the flag of Dr Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma Municipality’ Thabisile said.
