In a video which is circulating on social media, Kopano Makweng is depicted lying on his back while the unknown white man kicks him twice and tramps his chest while pointing a gun at him.

It is alleged that the incident follows an altercation between Kopano and the unknown white man at one of the fast-food outlets.

“We are saddened and condemn this barbaric behaviour; there’s no place for violence in our society. Whatever the issue might have been between Kopano and the unknown man, being violent is never the answer to resolve any conflict,” said Executive Mayor.
