Bulawayo, Zimbabwe: The former Zanu PF member of parliament for Chivi South has been reportedly involved in a road accident on Christmas Day. He experienced the car accident on Plumtree Road, in which Zivhu’s car overturned and sparked immediately.
The wellwishers of the politician showed immediate concern and responded to the rumours. Zivhu conveyed a message and posted it on social media, implying a potential farewell.
However, he later quashed the speculations of foul play quickly and firmly denied that the accident was an assassination attempt.
Zivhu presented his gratitude to the Plumtree police for their instant response and appreciated the staff of the United Bulawayo Hospitals (UBH) for saving his life and for their kind behavior.

The former MP released a thanksgiving note in a local vernacular, his message consisted of relief and appreciation for the prayers and support from the people of Zimbabwe, highlighting the severity of the accident and confirming that the accident was not staged.
Zivhu asked the people not to spread lies as he countered the accident and it was like any other accident. “I want to thank Plumtree police for quick response, special thanks to UBH staff for a friendly approach, ndoda kutenda vana ve Zimbabwe neminamato yenyu, panga pakaipa, this wasn’t a drama,” quoted the former MP on Tuesday, December 26, 2023.
Many followers, fans and supporters of the former member of parliament, Killer Zivhu, filled the comment section with their wishes and prayers, as soon as the information got leaked.
Many have commented, “get well soon” and some have showed the concern and wrote, “hope he is fine”.
