Botswana: The Greater Selibe Phikwe DHMT recently handed over a highly transformative social responsibility project in Molebalwa Ward, Sefhophe. The project is being supported and run in collaboration with the Sefhophe Clinic.
The members of the community have shared that the handover of the project was one of the most prominent occasions for the community. The social responsibility project wants to make sure that they can help in improving the living standards of families.
The project also seeks to support the mandates of the Greater Selibe Phikwe DHMT for healthcare and community. The Minstry of health stakeholders also attended the handover ceremony for the project.
They want to make sure that the people can continue to access better facilities for living a healthy and fulfilled life. The project especially sought to bring relief to the vulnerable families in the district.
The project included plans for the construction of a two-roomed house, a toilet , and a standpipe. The development of these infrastructure seek to bring a sense of comfort and dignity. The comfort and convenience of the people is a top priority for the people of the country.
Notably, the district organization as well as Ministry of Health in Botswana have shared several images from the handover ceremony. Sefhophe Nurse in Charge, Koolebogile delivered a brief address at the event.
She has expressed profound gratitude to the community of Sefhophe for their unwavering support and active participation in this initiative. The collaborative spirit and generosity displayed by local stakeholders, businesses, and individuals were instrumental in bringing this project to fruition.
“This initiative is a reflection of our belief that health and well-being go hand in hand with proper living conditions. We are proud to have been part of a project that will provide this family with a safe and dignified home,” She said.
