Green Thumb Industries Inc (OTCMKTS: GTBIF) has announced that it will open its third store in New Jersey. Rise Bloomfield will be the company’s 65th store in the U.S.

Green Thumb is to make donations to Bloomfield Youth Aid Foundation
Green Thumb plans to donate profits from its first day at the store to the Bloomfield Youth Aid Foundation. The organisation offers summer programs, scholarship funds and toy drives to youth in the region.

The President of Bloomfield Youth Aid Foundation, George Ricci, states that the foundation is pleased by the donation from Green Thumb. This donation will help them provide more services for the youth in the community and build on their current scholarship fund.

Rise Bloomfield will be in 26-48 Bloom Avenue, Essex county. It will be open between Monday’s and Fridays from 10 a.m- 7 p.m. On weekends, the store will operate from 10 a.m- 5 p.m.

According to Ben Kovler, the founder and CEO of Green Thumb, the company is excited to open a new store in New Jersey which has been made possible by the acceptance of cannabis in the East Coast and the rest of the country. He adds that Green Thumb hopes to make an impact on the community as they open more stores.

Other Green Thumb locations
Green Thumb has two other stores in New Jersey located in Paterson and Paramus. The company has had operations in New Jersey since 2018. It also has a facility in Paterson that works in the production and distribution of branded products. Green Thumb is one of the 12 licensed cannabis companies in New Jersey.
Despite the controversy, Rise employees in Paterson have been advocating for adults to use cannabis so they can sell it at their stores.

Green Thumb Industries Inc is one of the country’s largest cannabis companies. It produces and distributes many branded cannabis products such as Rhythm, Beboe, The Feel Collection, Incredibles, and Dr Solomon’s. The company’s products come in pre-rolled joints, gummies, tarts, flowers and chocolate.
Green Thumb has its headquarters in Chicago. It has 16 production facilities and 114 dispensaries. The company operates in 14 states in the U.S.
