Africa: The international model who took part in Milan Fashion week received a hero’s welcome today at Ephraim Mogale Local Municipality Offices.
Lebo Malope is a young male model aged 17 who hails from Seven Staad village outside Marblehall town in Sekhukhune District Municipality, Limpopo Province.
“I started my modelling late last year when I was recruited into this career by my brother through the Invade Models,” said the young model.
He added: “I was scouted late last year by my mother’s agency called Invade Models.”
“I was then placed within a month with one of the leading agencies in Europe, the Claw Models (Milan and Paris),” said Lebo with confidence.
Once he arrived in Europe, he was introduced to well-known casting directors in the industry.
“That is when my 1st big job was on the book, and I debuted with ALXS Studio. As a result, I started to be in demand and was booked for eight more shows such as Fendi, JW Anderson, Zegna official, Louis Vuitton, Paul Smith, Craig Green, and Kenzo. I closed it off with Valentino.
“I am very excited that I, as a young boy, have represented my home village and Limpopo at large. This is the reason we are dubbed #LimpopoBrothers,” he said with excitement.
