Botswana: The Miss Botswana Organization has hosted a media conference at VW AutoHouse in Gaborone. The media interaction served as a platform for the formal introduction of key sponsors and stakeholders.
During the programme, several crucial announcements were made for the upcoming Miss Botswana 2025 edition. The event marked the official beginning of the search for the next deserving beauty who would go on to represent the country at various stages.
The initiative began with a nationwide road trip whose starting point was the Tutume village. The 2023 Miss Botswana Lesego Chombo has made her nation proud on the international stage and reached the top ten at last year’s Miss World pageant in Mumbai.

The current Miss Botswana, Anicia Gaothusi, is yet to represent the country on the global stage. Her reign as Miss Botswana 2024 will expire within months and she has been working hard to prepare for international events.
Ahead of preparation take Botswana’s pride to the international level, she is travelling across the nation. She is starting the tour in her hometown of Tutume.
Gaothusi’s presence in the search road trip adds a personal touch as she carries forward her “Beauty with a Purpose” project. The project is focusing on community upliftment, which has been a core part of her mission throughout her reign.
Key sponsors of this year’s edition, including the Ministry of Youth, Gender, Sport and Culture (MYSC)were formally introduced during the media conference.
The people of the country also extended their best wishes to the participants who will be selected for the upcoming pageant.
