Nigeria: One young Nigerian girl, identified as Mirabel, who trended in a viral video in which she is having s3x with a dog in the Lekki area of Lagos, has reportedly died because of infection at a private hospital in Yaba.

As per reports on several online platforms, it was learnt that she died of canine brucellosis on Monday.

The reportages, which have assumed a viral dimension, have it that an eyewitness said the lady had been in hospital since Sunday last week after she collapsed and went into a coma.

Reports also stated that the deceased confessed to the doctor when the test result showed that she was suffering from canine brucellosis, which can only be contracted from a dog.

As per medics reports, Canine brucellosis is a contagious bacterial infection caused by Brucella canis (B. canis) bacterium

This bacterial infection is highly contagious among dogs. Infected dogs usually develop a reproductive system condition or a sexually transmitted disease.

“The lady had other underlying diseases which were worsened by the presence of B. canis.

She told doctors that she had been having s3x with dogs for more than three years now.

The in-charge doctor of the hospital said: “This should be a private matter. How did you get to hear that? Of course, we lost a patient today at our hospital, which is enough for today. You can go back to whoever gave you the information and get details. I am busy now, thank you.”

The death of Mirabel came after one of her viral videos on Tik Tok where she claimed that she slept with a dog for N1.7 million but later rejected her confession by saying that she was merely “catching cruise”, a slang for joking.

In her first video, she stated, “What is the big deal in this? I slept with a dog only; I did not kill someone, everybody in their life did something wrong, and that is worse than that. Besides, have you seen N1.7 million before? As if it is a big deal, And to remind you, I am not contaminated or anything. Stop dying on the matter; I’m enjoying the money.”

She posted two videos total in which she disproved her earlier claim, begging for forgiveness. The lady said that it was a prank and suggested people shun bestiality.

She said: “Guys, I was just catching a cruise. I didn’t sleep with any dog. My boyfriend just broke up with me; help me to beg my boyfriend. I’m sorry for the video I made; it was purely cruising.
