South Africa: A man committed suicide following an alleged argument with his girlfriend on Python Road in Waterloo – KZN, this morning (Friday).
A resident from the communal residence discovered the 33-year-old male hanging from the rafter in the toilet. The man cut the canvass rope and contacted Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) for assistance.
Reaction Officers and RUSA Medics arrived on the scene at approximately 09:04. Upon examination, the man showed no signs of life and was declared deceased.
According to other residents, they heard him arguing with his girlfriend, who lived further down the road. The deceased returned to his room and thereafter proceeded to the communal toilet, where he hung himself.
The deceased was the manager of the establishment.
