Mnambithi CMC hosts excellence awards after Matric Results

The Mnambithi CMC has hosted an awards ceremony to celebrate the remarkable results for the matriculation class.

“Programme Director, one of our best and loyal officials in the Department, has been working hard and efficiently with her team to ensure the extra-curricular programmes, including this Eisteddfod throughout the Province, are impeccably offered at our schools.

If it wasn’t for her and her team, this Eisteddfod would not have been a great success that it is today.

It is out of her dedication, commitment and foresight that the Provincial Choral Eisteddfod grew in leaps and bounds.

Indeed we wish to honour and bid farewell to this doyen, an ideal servant of the people of the Place of the Rising Sun, as she has decided to retire from the service of the Department.

I have been told that this Eisteddfod is her last as an official in the Department as the next one will be hosted while she is a pensioner.

Ladies and Gentlemen, please let us stand in ovation as I present Ms Thuli Nagel, the Director for Curriculum Enrichment, with a token of appreciation for having served the Department with love, dedication and aplomb.

Enjoy, and may the best of you go through it, said MEC MAJUBA
