Limpopo MEC for Sport, Arts and Culture, Hon. Thandi Moraka would like to take this opportunity and congratulate Ndavi Nokeri for making it to the Top 10 of the Miss SA 2022 Pageant.

Ndavi, who is currently working for an asset management firm in Cape Town, is a University of Pretoria graduate with a Degree in BCom Investment Management. She plans to further her studies with an Honours Degree in Economics and Investments to further enhance her understanding of local and global economics.

“I’m grateful, I think I’m still digesting this news because it is one huge step closer to a dream coming to a reality. It is also a confirmation not only for me but for anyone who also comes from a small beginning that our dreams are indeed valid. We should believe that whatever we want to achieve is possible with hard work, prayer, and dedication,” says Ndavi.

The MEC is also making a call to all Limpopians to rally behind Limpopo Netball Team (The Boababs) as they will be playing in the Semi-finals of the Telkom Netball League on Friday, the 17th of June 2022. The team that is coached by Emily Mathosa is currently third on the Division 2 log and has a chance of finishing in the second position if they beat the Diamonds tomorrow.

The match between the Baobabs and the Diamonds will be played at 6 PM in Pretoria’s Heart left Arena and is live on Supersport Football. Team coach Emily Mathosa says the strength of each member is the team, and it means a lot for the team to be in the Semi-finals. It really shows that hard work pays.

I would also like to congratulate the Baobabs for making the Semi-finals of the Telkom Netball League; this is really a big moment for Netball in the country. We are truly proud and humbled at the same time because this puts our province on the map,” concludes MEC Thandi Moraka.
