Botswana: Minister of Youth and Gender Affairs, Lesego Chombo is getting ready to host the L. E.A.D Forum. The event is scheduled for Friday 24th January 2025 from 08:30hrs to 14:00hrs in the BNYC Hall.
The event is being hosted under the auspice of ” LEARN, ENGAGE, ACT, AND DEVELOP.” The theme for the forum is; “My Voice Matters” and is being helmed by the Ministry of Youth and Gender affairs as a flagship platform.
This flagship platform is designed for the Minister to get in touch with the young people in a meaningful dialogue. The platform is designed to give the youngsters an opportunity to show voice their concerns, share insights, and propose innovative solutions on how the Ministry can serve them better.
The Minister Lesego Chombo has shared her views on why it was important to create a direct line of communication. According to the Minister, her team wants to better understand the aspirations and challenges faced by the youth.
With this they want to make sure that the communication into the matter and how to work collaboratively to address youth-related issues such as education, employment, entrepreneurship, and social development.
