Botswana: The President of Botswana, Mokgweetsi Masisi is looking forward to welcome the Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of Bahamas, Philip E Davis to Botswana. The Caribbean leader will reach the capital city of Botswana on Monday, March 18.
The official government correspondents have revealed that PM Davis is on an official six-day visit to Botswana. The visit will conclude on March 23 and serve as the perfect opportunity for the two countries to form a lasting and strong relationship.
The President of Botswana also visited the Bahamas on a state visit in the final quarter of 2023. He was accompanied by his wife, the First Lady of Botswana, Neo Jane Masisi.
Prime Minister Philip Davis is embarking on the six-day diplomatic trip to Botswana with the aim of working towards friendly relations with each other. The officials have shared that the visit will be an important step towards developing peaceful and strong bonds between the two nations.
The officials have claimed that the Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of Bahamas will reach Botswana on Monday at approximately 0700hrs. The flight of the Caribbean leader will land at the Sir Seretse Khama International Airport (SSKIA).
President Mokgweetsi Masisi will be present at the airport for the welcome ceremony of Prime Minister Philip E Davis. The officials of the Botswanan government will also be present at the welcome ceremony.
After the arrival of the Prime Minister of the Bahamas, President Masisi and Prime Minister Davis will host a media interaction. Two leaders will jointly address the press after the Caribbean Leader’s arrival.
The interaction will be hosted at 16:15 hours. The joint Press Briefing will take place at the Botswana Television Auditorium (BTV). The government officials of Botswana have extended an invitation to the media officials to cover the arrival and press address.
