South Africa: The Northern Cape Provincial Government, led by Premier Dr Zamani Saul, today concludes a very successful visit to Germany.
During the final day of engagements, the Government met with Siemens Energy, led by its Head of Africa, Nadja Haakansson, as well as Thabo Molekoa, Managing Director for South Africa.
Siemens Energy is a world leading energy technology company with a rich heritage in Africa; dating back 160 years, the company have signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Prieska Power Reserve, with Provincial Government support, and will therefore become its Energy technology partner.
The Groundbreaking Prieska Power Reserve Industrial Complex will be a first for South Africa, contributing to the country’s socio-economic objectives and UN Climate milestones and will place the Northern Cape as a leader in Green Hydrogen.
This project has been adopted as part of the Northern Cape Provincial Green Hydrogen Strategy.
The Northern Cape Provincial Government is serious about bringing investments into the Province to ensure that we together create jobs and improve the living conditions of the people of our Province.
