South Africa: Red Bull is all set to make a comeback with its Symphonic Concert in the country. Once again, the people will get the chance to experience the Musical Spectacle and see the amazing collaboration where Amapiano will meet Classical Music.
The music lovers will get to acknowledge the house music subgenre that was emerged in South Africa at the Red Bull Symphonic, which will be staged for the first time in South Africa, this year in the month of June.
Red Bull Symphonic South Africa will be held on June 8, 2024 and June 9, 2024 at the Gold Reef City, Lyric Theatre in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Reportedly, concert will feature Kabza De Small with Ofentse Pitse, whereas the Symphonic Orchestra will be making debut in South African concert.
The audience can expect a unique blend of modern style music and classical orchestration that brings together the famous King of Amapiano ‘Kabza De Small’, with a full-scale symphonic orchestra led by Ofentse Pitse and an 8-piece choir at the concert.
Performances at the Red Bull Concert will be featuring iconic repertoire by Kabza De Small. The concert will also feature songs by Khusela, Imithandazo and other artists.
Concert will be arranged masterfully with the addictive rhythms and log drum melodies. These will be played by a 33-piece orchestra and an 8-piece choir, that will result into a symphonic fusion.
Emphasising upon his performance that is to be staged at the concert, Kabza De Small said, “I will be performing with an orchestra that includes a choir. It is something that I have never done before and being an artist in love with music, the fusion of the two worlds is very exciting for me.”
He made additions to the many of his songs and focused on the vocals as a lot of Amapiano is very instrumental. He said further, “So I think people will be familiar with it. Amapiano is taking over the world and through such collaborations, who know how much further we could push the genre?”
Another artist to be featured in the South African Red Bull Symphonic, Oftense Pitse, the Conductor expressed that she delighted upon knowing the Mzansi instalment of Red Bull Symphonic’s unique nature: “The clash of two worlds between Amapiano and Classical music, which will create an electrifying atmosphere in which anything is possible.”
Moreover, it’s about breaking away from conventional limits and enabling the music to grow into something that is genuinely exceptional.
Notably, at the Red Bull Symphonic, Kabza De Small with Oftense Pitse and Symphonic Orchestra will feature a host of guest artists who will increase the diversity and intensity of an already extraordinary evening.
