St Kitts and Nevis: The Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew hosted the Annual Constituency and Community Awards on Sunday with his wife Diani Jimesha Drew. The aim of the project was to make sure that the people of the community and constituency 8 can be honored for their contributions.
The Prime Minister, who shared videos and snapshot glimpses from the gala evening on his social media account called the event an unforgettable experience. The people of constituency 8 were given the platform to celebrate and honor their leadership and strength.
The theme for the awards evening was, ‘Empowering Together: Building A sustainable Future For All’.
People working in various fields of nation building, ranging from education, healthcare, community services and more were honored over the weekend. This was the fifth edition of the awards night where Dr Drew and his wife recognized people who have served the nation in various capacities.
Drew noted that all the awardees were pillars of the community and were an inspiration to many. The Prime Minister and his wife, Diani Jimesha were delighted to witness the vibe of the evening.
PM Drew highlighted that he was proud to honor the people who have acted as the pillars of development in the coutry. The awardees included:

- Bernadette Bass
- Thenford Grey
- Sylvia Chapman
- Crighton Pencheon Lucinda Monzac
- Leroy Matthew
- Charlotte Salters
- Aidan Hendrickson.
All the awardees came from different fields and were honoured for their contributions to the development of the federation. PM Terrance Drew highlighted that the awardees continue to make an impact on the community’s wellbeing
In one of the videos shared by Dr Drew, the attendants were seen enjoying the evening on the dancefloor. He was proud to see the fifth edition of his Annual Constituency and Community Awards attaining such remarkable success.
The event was also attended by several dignitaries from across the federation. Joan Philip, Julie Williams and Joseph Edmeade were honored as honorary awardees for their dedicated lifelong service.
PM Drew said that they are an inspiration to generations of people in St Kitts and Nevis.
