Mauritius: A three-day national awareness workshop focusing on maritime security, organised by the Ministry of Blue Economy, Marine Resources, Fisheries and Shipping, in collaboration with the International Maritime Organization, under the Port Security and Safety for Navigation Project for Eastern and Southern Africa and the Indian Ocean, opened this morning at the Hennessy Park Hotel, in Ebène.
Mauritius: "Les Assises de L'Agriculture" will be held from 16 to 20 March 2023 at the Côte D'Or National Sports Complex at the initiative of the Ministry of Agro-Industry and Food Security and the Economic Development Board (E.D.B.). The theme of the event is Pathways to a Sustainable Food System for a Healthier Tomorrow.

Mauritius: Bad Weather Allowance is payable to registered fishermen who have not been able to go fishing due to bad weather conditions. Fishermen are, nevertheless, encouraged to do alternative activities, such as mending their nets and repairing their boats when they are not involved in fishing activities.
