South Africa: The military culture is constantly changing, and women of colour have been filling leadership positions they did not fill before. To quote former Minister of Defence and Military Veterans Mrs Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula, "I take pride in seeing more women swelling the ranks of the South African National Defence Force and being available to serve our nation."

South Africa: SA Army Support Formation is currently in Rhemardo Holiday Resort, hosting a Human Resources Succession Planning Session from 20 March 2023 that will end on 24 March 2023.

South Africa: On the 3rd of February 2023, the Chief of the SA Army, Lieutenant General Lawrence Khulekani Mbatha, had a communication period with members of the SA Army Headquarters at Sergeant Mudau Hall. Customary, the Code of Conduct for uniformed members of the South African National Defence Force was read, as well as the Public Service Act Personnel Code of Conduct; Chaplain (Dr) P. Roos opened the communication period with scripture reading and prayer.

South Africa: The South African Air Force (SAAF) turned 103 years old this year, and brave men and women assembled at Heartfelt Arena in Thaba Tshwane on 27 January 2023 to celebrate the courage, the leadership along with great memories as they reflected on the history of the organization that they fearlessly serve while accepting the challenges that came their way.

South Africa: On 15 January, the South African National War College (SANWC) welcomed the Joint Senior Command and Staff Programme (JSCSP) 22/2023 student officers from all four services of the South African National Defence Force, namely SA Army, SA Air Force, SA Navy and SA Military Health Services including Foreign Student Officers from the Republic of Kenya, Republic of Burundi, Republic of Cote d’Ivoire, Republic of Zimbabwe, Federal Republic of Nigeria, Arab Republic of Egypt, Republic of India, Kingdom of Eswatini and Kingdom of Lesotho.
