Talanta Sports City, is the first-ever modern facility that is to be built in the country in decades, since the construction of Kasarani and Nyayo, which will be equipped with a standardised athletics track, football and rugby fields.

Tournament began on June 29, 2024 and culminated on July 19, 2024. The five days match was played over in the Western Cape regions of Stellenbosch and Cape Town. The championship featured the best-12 U20 nations in the world, competing for the world title.

The Rugby matches will be conducted in Athlone Stadium and will stage pool matches while the iconic DHL Stadium will play host to key fixtures, including the opener, semi-finals and the final.

Botswana Tennis Association (BTA) successfully completed its training camp in Gaborone. The camp started on 9 December to 13 December 2023. 

Zambia: FIFA Museum has opened the display for the FIFA Women’s World Cup. The display includes Copper Queens captain Barbra Banda’s boots from the match when she scored the 1,000th goal of the tournament.
