Kenya Forest Service launched a campaign on Friday for saving trees and growing 15 million trees by 2032 in the country The Theme of the campaign is to increase the country's tree cover.

Kenya: Kenya Forest Service Chief Conservator Alex Lemorkoko thanked the public for their support towards Kenya Forest for the entire year.

Kenya: The Kenya Forest Service (KFS) Board of Directors, led by the Chairman, Job Chirchir, is on a two-day induction retreat to familiarise themselves with the programmes and activities of the Service and especially the 15 billion tree-growing campaign meant to increase the country’s tree cover to over 30% by the year 2032.

Kenya: The Acting Chief Conservator of Forests (Ag. CCF), Alex Lemarkoko, hosted the Youth Empowerment and Development Foundation (YED Foundation) officials for a discussion on how the youth can be involved in the 15 billion tree growing campaign that seeks to increase Kenya’s tree cover to over 30% by the year 2032.
