St Kitts The Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew has invited the parents across the island nation to register their children for ASPIRE programme. The government of St Kitts and Nevis has started a programme under which, every child will receive $1000 to open an account and start investing.
The leaders have shared that the programme wants to ensure that the children in the country have financial security. The leaders have shared that the membrs of the community, elders and children should be financially secure.
The officials have shared that the parents across the communities can register their children to bee recipients of the programme. The Prime Minister of the country has shared that the Cable Ltd would be helping the parents in registering their children’s name.
The members of the community will be able to register starting next week, Monday on 25th November – Friday, 29th November.
The members have shared that the the Aspire programme was promised as away to promote financial security and financial literacy. The officials have shared that Aspire will help the youngsters make wise financial choices and secure their future.
The parents, in order to register for the Aspire programme have to submit the following documents to start the procedure:
Valid IDs (for parent/guardian)
Child/Student’s Birth Certificate or Citizenship Certificate
Recent Proof of Address (e.g., utility bill, lease, recent bank statement) within the last 3 months
The officials have shared that the registration process will be done at the office of the Cable Ltd. The programme will help the government in understanding how many children in the federation are onboard with improving their financial knowledge and act in .
