Africa: Tshepong Victim Empowerment Centre commemorates ORANGE DAY every month on the 25th of each month.. As the bright and optimistic colour for the UNITE Campaign, ORANGE represents a future free from violence against women and Girls.
The day is commemorated on the 25th of each month globally to raise public awareness on the new pandemic of violence against women and Girls.
The awareness is used as a campaign :
– To scale up and fast track efforts to educate and empower young girls and women about Gender Based Violence (GBV)
– Involve young women and men in providing solutions for this scourge
– Motivate young women and men to be positive role models in the community
