Two people are killed and eight others are missing after a truck crashes into Egypt’s Nile River.

Accidents cases are increasing day by day in Egypt’s. On January 11, one more accident happened near the Nile river, which is in the capital of Cairo, in which at least two were killed, and eight others are still missing after the truck with 24 passengers fell into the river.

According to the sources, this accident happened on January 10 in the evening at Monshaat Al-Kanaterdistrict of Giza province.

The passengers, including children, were on board the truck on their way back from a farm that was their workplace.

The truck driver took his vehicle on the wrong side on an unlicensed ferry to the opponent side of the bank of the river when the accident happened.

Rescue workers who work there in the river to save the people also saved 14 passengers. However, the team are still searching for the rest of the passengers and two were killed, and 14 were still missing.

“The car driver and three workers of the unlicensed ferry have been arrested, and the arrest of the ferry’s owner is underway,” they added.

Children present in the Ferry are still missing, and rescue drivers are still trying to find them.

According to the reports, the truck driver has been arrested, including the ferry drivers and the rest three members.
