Botswana: The Majweng SC has recovered from the shock of last week and reclaimed the top spot for the week 26. The team that faced their first loss of the tournament in the previous week, bounced back with a resounding victory against Matebejana.
Interestingly, the Majweng’s opponents in Week 26 were the team who had dethroned the team from the top the previous week. The one-nil victory gave the Majweng FC a much needed boost of two points.
With 60 points in the weekly table and a single loss in the tournament, the team has once again, surpassed the other teams. The other teams in the top three both faced a one goal defeat from their respective opponents.
Consequently, they currently stand at a tied score of 58 in the weekly ranks. The Matebejana team is on the second spot due to a their victory and draw game statistics.
Alongside Majweng SC, Matebajana has won 18 matches of the tournament. Four matches of the team ended in a draw while they lost the remaining four games to their opponents.
On the other hand, Walker XI has won 17 matches, ended 7 matches of the tournament on a draw and lost two matches.
