Zambia: Red Arrows Football Club Executive has presented their new kit to the Zambia Air Force Commander, Lt Gen Oscar Msitu Nyoni, at Air Force Headquarters.
The Executive, led by the Club president, Colonel Moses Kambimbi, made the gesture to apprise Command and showcase what the club had embarked on.
Zambia Air Force Commander Lt Gen Nyoni welcomed the kit deal and praised the Red Arrows Football Club Executive for thinking outside the box to supplement Zambia Air Force support as the main sponsor of the club.
The Commander believes the team has no reason for a poor run with such kitting, which he described as top-notch. Gen Nyoni commended the meticulous design of the kit, which reflected the commitment to excellence shared by both the military and the football club.
“Club president, this is a good move; it shows that there is good leadership for such a thing to happen. Well done to every member involved in this deal. This kit represents not only the spirit of the Red Arrows on the football field but also our strength and core values that we believe in as an Air Force, such as excellence in all we do,” remarked the Air Force Commander after having a feel of the kit during the presentation.
He stated and guided, “With such kitting, I see no reason why the Red Arrows should ever face a poor run. You are not just representing a football club; you are embodying the strength and precision of the Air Force. Regardless of my presence or that of the Deputy Commander, play your game. Remain focused and determined. The skies are clear for our team, both on the field and in the hearts of all of us who support you. You carry the pride of the Air Force, so play without pressure. The field is your canvas; paint it with victory.”
Red Arrows football club recently announced a three-year sponsorship deal with renowned companies Hisense, Betika, Pre Secure Security and Freddy Hirsch under the kit manufacturer Scimitar.
The team wore the kit for the first time last Saturday during a Week 20 match encounter against Forest Rangers of Ndola and emerged victorious, convincingly beating the visitors a straight 2-0.
