Zambia: A 19 year old Jowetti Mwambazi from Chipata City Eastern Part of Zambia discovered a formula of producing fuel from plastic garbage. The young innovator has been using old waste plastic to convert the non-biodegradable waste into patrol.

The members of his community have been using the youngster’s discovery and have reverted with no issues. The people of the community have been appreciating the young genius for his efforts for their benefit.

Plastic is one of the most used non-biodegradable waste and has been extremely harmful for the environment. The products that the boy in his late teens is using, that is plastic bottles may take from 450 to 500 years to completely break down and decompose.

According to the experts, these waste products are often disposed off in landfills, which makes it even harder for the plastics to decompose safely. Meanwhile, the young innovator has figured out a way to use plastic in a more environment-friendly manner.

The experimental patrol and oil production which the youngster has taken up came into the notice of the Chipata City George Mwanza. The politician called on the youngster to meet him and talk about his innovation.

Mayor Mwanza shared the images from his meeting with the teenager on his social media. He also appreciated the youngster’s efforts in realizing the innovation. The mayor also wished the youngster well for his future.

In the pictures, Jowetti is showcasing the petrol and oil he has produced. Some community members have also affirmed the viability of this young investor’s product. They made the remarks after having tested his petrol in five motorbikes with no reported issues.

Social media users also appreciated the innovator and congratulated the youngster for his achievement. Comments appreciating the young mind filled the internet with messages like “Way to go young man”.

Another social media user shared that a youngster from Malawi, who lives in South Africa, has also recorded a similar achievement.
