The football world is sad due to the untimely death of Algerian footballer Sofiane Loker, who passed away at the age of 30 years because of the sudden Heart Attack. He suffered an attack during the Christmas game after one week of his marriage.

He was the captain of Algerian second division side Mouloudia Saida.

Just after the incident, he was rushed to the hospital. The 30-year-old died as a result of the severe illness. He crashed with his goalkeeper in the 26th minute, causing a possible head injury, according to Turkish source SuperHaber. He received treatment for his ailment shortly after and was cleared to proceed.

However, just after nine minutes, in the 35th minute, Loker hit the floor again. The team of doctors rushed towards him on the field. Despite doing CPR and attempting mouth-to-mouth resuscitation, the medical team could not resuscitate Loker. Following the incident, the match was suspended, and it is unclear whether the game will be replayed or resumed.

SuperHaber Sport tweeted a video of the incident, and In another video, the players were seen crying after the tragic incident happened. The upsetting incident occurred just days after another sad incident claimed the life of Croatian defender Marin Caric on Friday.

The 23-year old also suffered from a heart attack when he collapsed during training. However, the doctors attempted to save him by placing him in a coma.

These horrifying instances occur just months after Christian Eriksen, a Danish footballer, fainted in the middle of a Euro 2020 match against Finland.

His teammates and paramedics did a fantastic job saving his life by administering CPR and a defibrillator as soon as possible.
